COMMERCIAL ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR IN BRADENTON, SARASOTA & TAMPA BAY

With over 13 years of field-tested experience, we’ve handled just about every electrical challenge there is—from total panel replacements and generator installations to wiring entire commercial buildings. Our clients rely on us not just for technical skill, but for our honest advice and respectful service.

We’re also proud of what we haven’t done: in more than a decade, we’ve never had a single workplace accident. That level of safety doesn’t happen by chance. It’s the result of rigorous training, proper planning, and always putting people over profits.

Licensing & insurance: Steel City Electric of Florida, LLC is a Florida State Certified Electrical Contractor (License EC13014807), fully insured, and a Generac-certified installer. Certificates of insurance and license verification are available on request for any bid or contract.

Bonding & safety: We are bonded with $3M in aggregate bonding capacity and operate under a written company safety program covering fall protection, electrical safety and arc flash, lockout/tagout, PPE, excavation and trenching, hazard communication and emergency action planning. Every field employee is trained to it, and the result is 13+ years without a lost-time incident.

General contractor relationships: We work as a Division 26 subcontractor for general contractors including R.E. Crawford Construction, Hollandsworth Construction, Brinkmann Constructors, Vision General Contracting and Cox & Company, and directly for owners, property managers and condominium associations. Our crews are also qualified for government, institutional and mission-critical environments — including a new electrical service, Eaton switchgear and Generac standby generator at a secure GEO Group detention facility in Tampa — where background checks, escorted access, strict safety protocols and full documentation are standard. Our 2026 work includes the IKEA Sarasota build-out with R.E. Crawford — a 1,600 A, 480/277 V three-phase service, roughly 80,000 feet of wire and 1,000 light fixtures, delivered by an eight-person crew over sixteen weeks, along with the Bealls #63 store build-out in Bradenton.
