Commercial & Industrial Electrical Contractor Serving Sarasota, Bradenton & Tampa Bay

Thank you, Steel City Electric, and thank you, Matt! When I arrived home from work tonight, I made the unfortunate mistake of opening my car door into one of my electrical outlets in the garage. When this happened, a spark came out, and the lights in the garage shut off. I soon realized all of the power in my house was off too. The circuit breaker didn’t seem to be tripped, and after resetting everything, I still had no power. I decided to try and call my home warranty company, my electric company, and local electricians. After getting either voicemails or quoted $275 to have someone come out, I decided to call Steel City. Matt was the person that answered the phone, and I can’t thank him enough. After explaining the situation, Matt explained a possible solution. His recommendation worked, and it saved me money and a night in the dark. I’d recommend this company any day!

Panel upgrade in Lakewood Ranch. Showed up on time did the job and cleaned up after. No complaints.

I worked directly with Matt, and initially my experience with this company was very positive. They responded to my first call immediately and came out quickly to provide a bid. The work itself was excellent and fairly priced, and I was very happy with the quality of the job they did. I have since used this company for other projects, and each time they have done great work for me. Their craftsmanship and pricing have consistently great.

Great company to work with Matt showed up on time and did exactly what he quoted. I will be recommending Matt to anyone. I know that needs electrical. He’s a standup guy.

“I recently had Steel City Electric handle a few projects at my house: they replaced the outside light on my lanai, ran four new outlets throughout the living area, and hung two TVs with perfect cable management. The team was punctual, professional, and super tidy—my place looked better after they left than before! They walked me through each step, quoted a fair price upfront with no surprises, and even double-checked everything for safety. The new setup is reliable, and I’m already loving how seamless the TV mounts are. If you need electricians who get the job done right without the hassle, Steel City Electric is the way to go. Couldn’t recommend them more—definitely calling for the next project!”

This company is great. They came on time The next . They were in full communication prior to coming to the house and when they completed the job! The Electrician was very knowledge on questions I’ve asked and they were always concerned about what my needs. I highly recommend this company for any electrical needs. Clearly the best in Sarasota and manatee county.

Exceptional Electrician they’re absolutely pristine. They do a very good job very communicative and I would hire them over and over. They’ve installed the Jacuzzi for me. They have done electrical wiring for two chandeliers. This is my go to Electrician for all things related to electricity. He has fantastic and certified and professional.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Electrical Work! I recently had Steel City Electric come out to my home to handle some electrical work, and they did an outstanding job. They installed recessed lighting, new outlets, breaker upgrade, or outdoor wiring and everything came out perfect. The crew was professional, on time, and very respectful of my home. They explained everything clearly before starting, gave me a fair price, and made sure everything was clean and working properly before they left. It’s hard to find reliable electricians who take pride in their work, but Steel City Electric definitely does. I highly recommend them for any residential electrical projects — I’ll definitely be using them again in the future.

Matt and Mike did an exceptional job fixing our outlets and installing a new generator at our home. Great price and friendly service!
